Because sometimes, life can get too loud and too fast—and in those moments, even few minutes of deep, thoughtful pause can make everything feel a little lighter, and our shoulders a little less heavy. We’d know. We felt it ourselves. 

One of us was crying on the bathroom floor, knee deep in the trenches of postpartum depression, heartbroken that no brand felt like it understood her, or was born to honor her givings–no brand felt like it truly understood her or all she was losing, or was trying to help her gain some footing–a way back to herself. Another one of us stayed up late nights, slowly burning out the same way–all due to an overdemanding corporate job. We knew we couldn’t be the only ones. Men’s world, men’s rules–and they speak to women like they’re men too. No wonder it was eating women like us up from the inside.

When we spoke–a moment of divine intervention, if we may say–we understood one thing: so many self care brands were focused on making you smell like dessert, making you smell like XYZ, yet we wanted scents and rituals that would help us channel the better versions of ourselves that we were losing in touch with. There were so many self care brands in the market for the girls, none of them ‘by the girls‘. 

We joined hands and decided to bootstrap Luum from ground up–inspired by our most loved luxury formulas worldwide, and calibrated for Indian skin, climate and pockets! Every Luum product is more than what meets the eye–it is a result of thoughtful love, mission, and a letter to honor the relentless spirit of the woman within–and a small effort to make sure you’re not pouring from empty and burning out.
